We will leave from the Abbey of Santa Maria del Monte in Cesena, which offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills. The Monastery lived its best peak under the hegemony of the Malatesta.

 

Under the portico of the small cloister, there is the herbalist's shop where you can buy liqueurs of the Benedictine tradition, infusions, and wines typical of the area produced by the monks themselves.

Traveling along wonderful roads, we will reach Longiano which boasts the prestigious orange flag, the environmental tourism quality sign of the Italian Touring Club.

 

Here we find a castle of medieval origins, a majestic bell tower, 5 museums, a war shelter, two historic churches, and a nineteenth-century theater, the pride of the town.
